Our route will take you along ancient trails that connect the most emblematic villages of the region. In Deià, you will feel the inspiration that has captivated artists and writers for centuries with its Mediterranean charm and dreamlike landscape. Valldemossa, famous for its cobbled streets and 13th century monastery, where the composer Frederic Chopin found inspiration.

Hike to Barranc de Biniaraix


Enjoy a unique experience, an excursion guided by a local guide who will explain the natural and cultural values ​​of the area, highlighting the rural landscapes and primary forests typical of the Sierra de Tramuntana Natural Park, with some of the most idyllic landscapes of the Tramuntana Mountains. Climbing the Biniaraix ravine is one of the most emblematic excursions that can be done. For about 7 kilometers, the itinerary runs along a cobbled path, which dates back to Roman times and was later used by the Muslims during their settlement to connect the valley of Sóller with the L'Ofre valey The characteristics of the walk are the following.

Hike the Mountains of Deià


For this wonderful hike, we meet in the middle of the village of Deià, located in the Tramuntana mountains of Mallorca. I will be waiting for you in front of the small supermarket, where you can also take the opportunity to buy drinks and snacks.

Then we set off and after just a few metres we leave the hustle and bustle and head into nature. The mountains catch a special colour every day and the landscape is a spectacular combination of sea and mountains, olive groves and holm oak forests. We will stop in between to enjoy the view, have a rest and refresh ourselves.

After about 3 hours (+/- 30min) we will be back in Deià.

The Valldemossa Mountains


Join me in some of the most idyllic landscapes of the Tramuntana Mountains. Includes part of the Arxiduc trail, as well as its viewpoints and refuge. For this wonderful walk, we meet at the public car park in Valldemossa, where the long-distance buses also stop. In the nearby supermarket you can take the opportunity to buy drinks and snacks. Then we set off and after just a few metres we leave the hustle and bustle and head into nature. We will have the unique opportunity to overlook the entire valley of Valldemossa, the famous "King's Plain". We first enter the private estate "Son Moragues" and then continue our ascent. From the mountain top of "Talaia Vella" we will also admire the most important mountains of the region, such as "Galatzo" and "Planicia". Weather permitting, we can even see the neighbouring island of Ibiza. Our route takes us through the Vulture Mountain, which Martin's Walks has permission to enter and will organise access to. In a small local shop you will also have the opportunity to buy (seasonally) olive oil, honey and other local products. Optionally, the staff member can give us an insight into the work of the landscape stewardship, which includes reforestation and nest box construction. In between, we stop to enjoy the view, take a break and refresh ourselves.

The Path of the Arxiduc


The route of the Arxiduc Luis Salvador. A roundtrip designed to contemplate the unique and spectacular landscapes of the Tramuntana Mountains. For this exciting hike, we meet in the middle of the artists' village of Deià, located in the Tramuntana mountains of Mallorca. I will be waiting for you in front of the small supermarket, where you can also take the opportunity to buy drinks and snacks. Then we set off and after just a few metres we leave the hustle and bustle and head into nature. We walk along the path that was specially created by and for the Arxiduc Lluis Salvador to enjoy the wonderful view over the mountains, valleys and the sea. We will stop in between to enjoy the view, have a rest and refresh ourselves.
