Details

Visit two of the most picturesque and representative villages in the north of Mallorca, on a route that combines mountain and sea: the port of Sóller and Valldemossa. We will discover places to get lost in for their history and beauty, making this route an unforgettable experience. The valley of Sóller lies before us with its extensive orange groves and the steep mountains of the Sierra de Tramuntana.

The Port of Sóller is a beautiful natural port located in the northwest of the island and an important centre of tourist interest. A small treasure coveted in ancient times by corsairs, it offers a unique landscape where the scent of orange blossom mingles with the aroma of the sea. The port and the town of Sóller are connected by an old wooden tramway that preserves all its original aesthetics and decoration, which we can admire walking along the port's lively promenade.

On the way to Valldemossa, we will make a panoramic stop at the fabulous viewpoint of 'Sa Foradada', where we can admire one of the most beautiful natural phenomena on the island. This is a small mountain village located on the northwest slope of the Tramuntana mountain range, which has seduced and has seduced numerous artists throughout its history, including the British poet Robert Graves. Its natural surroundings and the welcoming beauty of its ancient cobbled streets and traditional Mallorcan houses make this excursion an authentic Mediterranean experience.

Valldemossa is a beautiful mountain village with idyllic cobbled streets and breathtaking panoramic views of a dreamlike valley. This beautiful village was witness to the love story between the writer George Sand and the famous composer Frédéric Chopin, as well as a residence or a must-see for famous international personalities. Before setting off on our return journey, we can lose ourselves in its streets and stroll through the gardens of the Royal Carthusian Monastery of Valldemossa.

Carbon footprint offsetting

Carbon offsetting is a method used to balance greenhouse gas emissions by investing in projects that reduce or eliminate equivalent emissions elsewhere.

At Lemon Tours, we carefully calculate the carbon footprint of each of our tours, considering factors such as transportation and activity consumption. We then invest in a variety of United Nations certified carbon offset projects, such as renewable energy, reforestation and others, to offset these emissions.
