It is so sweet to live, to see and to feel. One could not agree more with this verse by a renowned Mallorcan poet when one steps on the sand of this earthly paradise. Platja d'es Trenc is a set of dunes, pine groves, hills, salt marshes and tamarisk trees designed to intoxicate the senses. It forms part of the natural area of the Es Salobrar marshes, a protected area of 1,500 hectares, one of the most beautiful in Mallorca, and it is perfect for a day at the beach in an ideal natural environment.

Spend the day on one of the most impressive beaches on the south coast of Mallorca. Its turquoise and transparent waters due to the fine white sand, make it a summer spectacle where you can spend the day, enjoying the sun and the relaxing sound of the waves.

For many, it is one of the most impressive beaches in Mallorca, a protected natural paradise with white sand dunes and crystal clear waters that stretch as far as the eye can see. One of the most curious elements that can be seen on the beach are some defence fortifications that date back to the 1940s and whose purpose was to defend the island from the invasion of the allied troops, an intact piece of history.

The south coast of the island has some of the most beautiful coves of Mallorca, difficult to access on foot, so the route of our electric boat is perfect to admire and swim in the spectacular waters that characterize this area.

One of the most interesting attractions in this area are the Es Trenc salt mines, which have a large surface area and a large production of flake salt. Its origins date back to the 4th century BC and were used by the Punics and Romans.

We recommend that you wear comfortable shoes and sun cream, as it is a protected area and there is no sun lounger or parasol service. At the entrance to the beach you can get water, soft drinks and cold snacks.

Carbon footprint offsetting

Carbon offsetting is a method used to balance greenhouse gas emissions by investing in projects that reduce or eliminate equivalent emissions elsewhere.

At Lemon Tours, we carefully calculate the carbon footprint of each of our tours, considering factors such as transportation and activity consumption. We then invest in a variety of United Nations certified carbon offset projects, such as renewable energy, reforestation and others, to offset these emissions.
